HSE Representative (Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Perform on-site and field compliance inspections covering DOT and HSE programs, policies, procedures, and government regulations.
• Coordinate hazard identification, facility compliance audits, Behavior-Based Observations, Job Safety Analyses, and mitigation activities.
• Monitor employees, contractors, and vendors; document noncompliance and implement immediate corrective actions when necessary.
• Support incident reporting and train supervisors, new employees, and crews on HSE, DOT, and regulatory safety standards.
• Inspect and distribute PPE, participate in safety stand-down meetings, and maintain required HSE training and certifications.
• Transport personnel and equipment, monitor convoy movements, assist with rig-up and rig-down, and operate company vehicles in varied conditions.

Requirements

• Two years of experience as an oilfield HSE Representative or in oilfield operations; an associate degree or equivalent may substitute for experience.
• General knowledge of the oil and gas industry and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Current valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a vehicle on varied terrain, road conditions, and weather conditions.
• Ability to work 12+ hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and to be on call every other weekend.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. occasionally and perform regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn work-related software, exercise independent judgment, and manage changing requirements.
