Occupational Safety Professional (Environmental Compliance)

Location: Hybrid on/off client site in the United States, including Washington, DC; Clarksburg, WV; Quantico, VA; and nationwide field offices

What you will do

• Perform occupational safety and environmental safety inspections across construction, industrial, and office environments.
• Conduct OSHA compliance audits and support compliance with applicable DOT, NFPA, environmental, and consensus standards.
• Develop and manage workplace occupational safety and health programs, risk mitigation initiatives, and safety training.
• Prepare clear, data-driven technical reports and provide evidence-based guidance to client stakeholders.
• Support hazardous-material handling, storage, disposal, spill remediation, and safe workplace practices.
• Communicate with employees, contractors, visitors, and government stakeholders while maintaining professionalism and discretion.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable DOT, NFPA, environmental, and workplace safety standards.
• Active Top Secret security clearance is required before beginning work and must be maintained throughout the contract.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Lists, and Power BI.
• Strong communication, technical writing, proofreading, data management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
• Government and public services sector experience.
