Manager - Data & Analytics

Location: Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY; on-site. Travel to client sites is required as project assignments demand, including sites outside the primary office location, state, or region. Remote or hybrid work may be permitted for certain projects, but on-site client attendance takes precedence when required.

What you will do

• Manage consulting projects and stakeholders across setup, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Lead hands-on development using SQL and occasional Python, data visualization tools, and data models in Snowflake and Databricks.
• Design reporting, data management, relational database, and data warehouse solutions that support data-driven decision-making.
• Facilitate workshops, provide status updates, and lead meetings with client executives.
• Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
• Support internal growth through mentorship, recruitment, strategy, and methodology improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management, process, implementation, system integration, and SDLC experience in an Agile environment.
• 7+ years of consulting or data-focused experience.
• Expert-level SQL experience with platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Teradata, Redshift, BigQuery, or MS SQL Server.
• Experience designing and building relational databases or data warehouses.
• Hands-on experience with self-service BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related analytical field.

Nice to have

• Experience in Media & Entertainment or Consumer Products.
• Large consulting firm experience, cloud computing experience, or data architecture experience.
• Experience automating data-related tasks, profiling and analyzing data, or using dbt.
• Knowledge of BI trends and the BI vendor landscape.
