Company

hirify.global develops golf equipment and focuses on product performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What you will do

  • Design and execute advanced performance testing protocols for golf clubs and balls across laboratory, player, field, and Tour environments.
  • Own performance engineering activities for product categories such as woods, irons, putters, and wedges.
  • Support PGA and LPGA Tour and elite-athlete testing by collecting clean, repeatable, decision-ready data.
  • Analyze testing datasets covering ball speed, launch, spin, consistency, delivery, impact location, dispersion, and performance tradeoffs.
  • Translate player and Tour observations into engineering recommendations, validation plans, product questions, and follow-up experiments.
  • Develop automated data pipelines, dashboards, reporting tools, test methods, instrumentation, and repeatable workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, applied mathematics, physics, data science, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • Master’s degree plus 0–2 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree plus 2–4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience designing statistically rigorous experiments, including power analysis, Design of Experiments, measurement system analysis, and confidence-based decision-making.
  • Experience with golf launch monitors, motion capture, or high-speed video analysis, plus familiarity with ANOVA, regression modeling, and machine learning.
  • Strong golf background and understanding of equipment-player interaction; a low single-digit handicap is preferred.
  • Ability to work across lab, field, player-facing, and cross-functional environments, including around confidential prototypes and elite athletes.

Nice to have

  • Low single-digit golf handicap.
  • Experience applying AI-assisted workflows to experimental planning, statistical analysis, test automation, reporting, and synthesis of engineering datasets.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hybrid work across office, laboratory, field-testing, and Tour-support settings.
  • Collaboration with R&D, Product Development, Tour, Fitting, Consumer Insights, and Analytics teams.
  • Health and wellness benefits, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, and paid time off may be available.
  • Opportunities to train engineers and player test analysts on testing standards and elite-athlete interactions.
  • Extended hours may be required during testing cycles, product deadlines, player-test windows, and Tour-related activities.
