Senior Reliability Controls Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Clinton, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite, full-time

Salary: $78,400–$133,400 annually, plus potential discretionary annual bonus and long-term incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop and execute equipment reliability strategies using Reliability-Centered Maintenance, Equipment Criticality Analysis, and Risk-Based Inspection.
• Provide technical oversight for control systems, automation platforms, instrumentation, hardware configurations, and communication protocols.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, reliability assessments, and sustainable corrective actions.
• Build and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve asset life, uptime, and maintenance costs.
• Analyze equipment performance and failure data, establish reliability data processes, and forecast maintenance needs.
• Lead controls improvements, equipment upgrades, continuous improvement projects, and cross-functional reliability initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of reliability engineering or related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with control systems, including Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, hardware configuration, and communication protocols.
• Proven success improving equipment reliability and maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance, including Early Equipment Management, Autonomous Maintenance, and Quality Maintenance.
• Strong communication, project leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities, with compliance experience covering safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with molding and automated assembly.
• Professional certification such as Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional.
