Director, Professional Relations (Healthcare)

Location: United States; hybrid work schedule

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 per year, depending on qualifications; eligible for an annual bonus program or commission incentive

What you will do

• Develop the strategy and vision for engaging professional societies, healthcare organizations, and key opinion leaders.
• Use AI tools for industry research, stakeholder intelligence, meeting preparation, partnership reporting, and communications.
• Represent the organization as an executive liaison at conferences, society meetings, and professional events.
• Oversee partnership agreements, negotiations, and collaborative initiatives, ensuring measurable organizational value.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Business Development, Outcomes, and Marketing teams on strategic programs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Professional Relations team while reporting partnership outcomes and industry insights to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in professional relations, stakeholder engagement, or healthcare association management.
• Proven experience leading high-level partnerships and representing organizations externally.
• Active use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or AI-powered research and communications platforms.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated team leadership, mentoring, and performance-management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, healthcare, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
