Senior Specialist Operational Excellence (SAP)

Location: Clinton, South Carolina, United States; office and manufacturing environment; approximately 20% domestic and international travel

What you will do

• Lead the deployment of continuous improvement projects aligned with NBS Next initiatives.
• Develop, train, and coach employees at all organizational levels in continuous improvement fundamentals and Lean thinking.
• Identify and eliminate waste while improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity, and Cost performance.
• Compile data, manage databases, ensure data integrity, and build reports and information metrics.
• Act as a liaison between business functions and IT to develop, validate, and deploy reports, tools, and process improvements.
• Define continuous improvement strategy, standardize best practices globally across the ICS business, and maintain the project pipeline.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a relevant field, or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 4–6 years of progressive continuous improvement experience with demonstrated business acumen, leadership, and results delivery.
• 8–12 years of SAP experience in Engineering Change Management, Production Planning, Material Requirements Planning, or Shop Floor Control is preferred.
• Proficiency in Lean thinking across operational and transactional environments.
• Experience with change management, transformation, SIPOC or comparable process mapping, and detailed project planning.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills, with the ability to influence all organizational levels.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Power BI, and SAP.
• Experience standardizing practices and sharing best practices across global business functions.
