PCF - 50&53 Head of Client Asset Safety and Custody Oversight

What you will do

• Perform the day-to-day responsibilities of the PCF-50 Head of Material Business Line – Custody and PCF-53 Head of Client Asset Oversight functions.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate client asset and Depositor Protection risks through control reviews and root-cause investigations.
• Maintain the Client Asset Management Plan, manage breach notifications, approve regulatory returns, and submit required reporting to the Central Bank.
• Oversee custody activities including safekeeping, trade processing, securities settlement, payments, entitlements, tax reclaims, reconciliations, pricing, account opening, and cash management.
• Establish local governance, report to senior governance forums, and collaborate with Risk and Compliance on legal and regulatory controls.
• Lead custody strategy, resiliency and business continuity arrangements, third-party and outsourcing oversight, budgeting, and staff leadership.

Requirements

• Technical expertise in CBI Client Asset Requirements and preferably prior experience in a Client Asset Oversight role.
• Experience with custody products and services.
• Strong understanding of policy, compliance, security principles, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Well-developed management and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, including executives, regulators, and clients.
• Ability to think strategically and navigate a complex organization effectively.
