Head of Investment Monitoring and Oversight

Location: Dublin 1, Ireland; hybrid

Salary: €120,000–€150,000 per year, plus car allowance

What you will do

• Oversee fund management for European collective investment schemes and client portfolios, ensuring adherence to investment strategies and client requirements.
• Act as the Designated Person for Investment Management (PCF39), subject to Central Bank of Ireland approval.
• Support the Irish entity’s board through reporting, insight, challenge, and oversight of delegated portfolio management activities.
• Review investment objectives, policies, restrictions, procedures, and compliance across UCITS, AIFs, and segregated mandates.
• Engage with portfolio managers across equities, fixed income, index, LDI, money market, multi-asset, and private asset strategies.
• Partner with distribution and client management teams on European products, regulated fund launches, and portfolio support.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, product specialization, risk, or investment governance.
• Proven investment management experience, preferably in an oversight or front-office role; board engagement experience is desirable.
• Strong client-facing communication, presentation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively establish procedures, monitoring, governance, risk identification, and escalation processes.
• Strong risk mitigation and compliance mindset, with flexibility when working with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent numerical aptitude and Excel skills, including the ability to perform quantitative portfolio, risk, and performance analysis.
