Financial Analyst (Marketing)

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States; onsite office environment

Salary: $74,000–$85,000 annual base pay

What you will do

• Support annual operating plan development by building bottoms-up financial plans with business partners.
• Track, forecast, and report financial performance for Global Marketing and Product Creation.
• Manage accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, monthly close support, and related schedules.
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards that provide actionable visibility into business performance.
• Perform overhead variance analysis, including fixed and variable cost management.
• Provide weekly 13-week cash flow visibility and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in corporate FP&A or a related finance function.
• Strong foundation in accounting, budgeting, and financial statement analysis.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical skills with large datasets.
• Clear communication skills for translating complex financial data to finance and non-finance audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work independently and cross-functionally in an onsite office environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Oracle EBS, Business Objects, Domo, or PBCS.
• Experience using AI tools, automation, or RPA to improve analytical workflows.
