Civil/Environmental Project Manager (Solid Waste)

What you will do

• Lead technical engineering, project management, project pursuits, marketing, and client relationship activities.
• Plan, design, permit, and administer construction for landfills, vertical facilities, brownfields, remediation, and other civil and environmental projects.
• Serve as lead project designer, engineer of record, and project manager for projects ranging from small to large.
• Develop scopes of work, budgets, proposals, and business development opportunities.
• Coordinate with design teams and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 7 years of related experience, including a minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
• Experience with civil and environmental engineering analysis, cost estimating, design, construction management, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of stormwater controls, groundwater monitoring and remediation networks, leachate management, landfill gas systems, utilities, roads, and site infrastructure.
• Excellent organizational, project management, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with various design teams and actively participate in an employee-owned culture.

Nice to have

• Municipal solid waste, coal combustion residuals, or other waste management experience.
• PMP certification.
