Executive Director (Oncology)

Location: Overland Park, Kansas, United States; role focused on the Kansas/Missouri region

What you will do

• Lead the launch of a new community oncology practice with 4–7 medical oncologists.
• Oversee site development, practice build-out, opening readiness, and operational continuity.
• Recruit, hire, develop, and lead the inaugural administrative and operations team.
• Support EMR and clinical system buildout, including technology and practice interfaces.
• Build strong relationships with physicians, providers, staff, corporate teams, payors, hospital systems, and referral networks.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, quality improvement, marketing, business development, regulatory compliance, and accreditations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare management.
• Experience in oncology practice administration is preferred.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in complex decision-making environments.
• Strong communication and relationship-development skills for working with physicians, leaders, employees, and external partners.
• Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Public Health Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel to hirify.global locations and community oncology events at least once per quarter.
