Senior Consultant - Data & Analytics

Location: Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY; on-site. Travel to client sites may be required, including outside the primary office location, state, or region. Remote or hybrid work may be permitted for certain projects, but client requirements take precedence.

What you will do

• Participate in project setup, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop data solutions using SQL and occasional Python, and create visualizations with Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Design data models and relational databases or data warehouses using platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.
• Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, presentations, and deliverable review sessions.
• Translate complex business challenges into actionable plans, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Build client relationships and contribute to mentorship, recruitment, strategy, and methodology initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of consulting or data-focused experience, including strong SQL experience.
• 3+ years of project management, process, implementation, and SDLC experience in an Agile environment.
• Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Teradata, Redshift, BigQuery, or MS SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with self-service BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Experience designing and building relational databases or data warehouses.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in Media & Entertainment or Consumer Products.
• Experience at a large consulting firm.
• Cloud computing experience, including AWS or similar platforms.
• Data automation, profiling, exploration, and analysis experience.
• Familiarity with dbt and the ability to present data solutions with strong business acumen.
