Director, Global Compensation (Biotechnology)

Location: United States — Remote, with occasional travel to hirify.global offices or other locations

Annual salary: $212,200–$262,100 USD, plus annual bonus and equity incentives.

What you will do

• Advise HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on strategic hiring, retention, promotions, job leveling, organizational changes, and annual compensation planning.
• Analyze compensation issues and recommend solutions balancing business objectives, market competitiveness, internal equity, global consistency, and compensation philosophy.
• Lead global compensation market intelligence, including survey vendor relationships, market pricing, benchmarking, and industry conference participation.
• Own global job architecture, leveling, job evaluation methodology, salary structures, career paths, and consistent regional application.
• Lead annual market reviews, including salary range adjustments, midpoint progression, competitiveness, market movement, and pay compression analysis.
• Provide subject matter leadership for pay transparency, pay equity, governance, and broad-based compensation program enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of progressive broad-based compensation experience in high-growth, global environments.
• Experience in a global public pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences company is strongly preferred.
• Experience partnering with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders across functions, geographies, and organizational levels.
• Strong expertise in market pricing, benchmarking, salary structures, job architecture, job leveling, job evaluation, and compensation decision support.
• International compensation experience supporting EMEA, LATAM, and/or APAC is preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, modeling, influencing, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
