Temporary Maintenance Technician

Location: Copper Beech Statesboro, Statesboro, Georgia, United States; work is performed at the assigned property

Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available. The role may require periodic travel, after-hours availability, weekend emergency support, and on-call service except during approved PTO.

What you will do

• Respond to maintenance and repair service requests and complete assignments according to operating procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs across apartments, buildings, equipment, and property features.
• Prepare apartments for resident turnovers and meet completion deadlines.
• Carry out basic appliance repair, carpentry, plumbing and fixture repair, painting, electrical, and lighting work.
• Document work performed, parts and supplies used, follow-up requirements, and materials needed.
• Maintain clean work areas and promote positive relations with residents, contractors, service staff, and management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Pool Operator certification, or willingness to obtain it within six months.
• Clear communication skills and a safety-conscious, punctual, dependable approach.
• Valid driver's license and ability to use or learn basic computer operations.
• Flexible schedule for after-hours and weekend emergencies, with willingness to travel when required.
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 100 lbs. as needed.
