Maintenance Assistant (Assisted Living)

What you will do

• Complete maintenance work orders throughout the community.
• Perform repairs and other work to prepare apartments for new residents.
• Order and organize maintenance supplies.
• Handle general maintenance projects, including plumbing, electrical equipment, carpentry, painting, and equipment repairs.
• Perform seasonal snow removal and landscaping work.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required.
• General mechanical and electrical knowledge is preferred.
• Communicate clearly and positively with residents, colleagues, and other people encountered at work.
• Work independently with a confident, practical, can-do attitude.
