Remote Completions Engineer I

What you will do

• Monitor live hydraulic fracturing operations from the Remote Operations Center across active stations, data vans, and operators.
• Track stage progression, treatment execution, operational timing, job status, sand, chemical, and acid usage.
• Communicate with Service Supervisors, Operator Company Men, field personnel, and internal leadership using LTE radio and Microsoft Teams.
• Maintain shift handoff documentation and validate treatment reports, material trackers, well information, and customer documentation.
• Organize final job data for post-job closeout, internal review, and customer discussions.
• Use Microsoft 365, engineering dashboards, and reporting systems while enforcing HSE policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related STEM discipline preferred.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic fracturing operations, including stage execution, treatment schedules, material tracking, equipment function, and field-to-ROC communication.
• Ability to support up to two active stations, data vans, or operators during single-well frac, zipper frac, or simulfrac operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Excel, including Teams, Outlook, formulas, filtering, reporting, data validation, and documentation control.
• Strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking, accountability, attention to detail, coachability, and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Ability to work 12+ hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds independently and 80 pounds with a team.

Hiring process

• Progression to RCE-2 requires demonstrated performance, successful completion of the RCE-1 readiness test, and certifications approved by Engineering leadership.
