AML/CIP KYC Manager

Location: Chicago, IL, United States. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the U.S.; employment-based visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $83,100–$141,300 USD annually, plus potential discretionary bonus and equity component.

What you will do

• Lead daily KYC Operations activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of CDD and EDD.
• Manage workflow allocation, capacity planning, prioritization, SLAs, and regulatory deadlines.
• Oversee AML/KYC operational risks, quality controls, escalations, audits, regulatory reviews, and remediation actions.
• Drive root cause analysis, process improvements, workflow optimization, and regulatory change implementation.
• Provide management information and operational risk updates to senior stakeholders.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and lead KYC Operations professionals.

Requirements

• Experience in KYC Operations, AML Operations, or financial crime within financial services.
• Knowledge of AML, Customer Identification Program, Enhanced Due Diligence, KYC, and economic sanctions requirements.
• Demonstrated people management, performance management, and capability development experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, stakeholder management, escalation, and risk management skills.
• College or university degree and/or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship is required.
