Private Banking Officer II

Location: In office at 400 Park Avenue, New York, New York, US 10022

Salary: $65,296–$104,304 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Service private banking clients across deposits, wires, new accounts, checking and savings activity, CDs, loan payments, and advances.
• Review and process deposits, approve checks for cashing, reverse deposit fees, and monitor account activity for potential financial loss.
• Facilitate new deposit account and small-business consumer lending requests by providing disclosures, gathering documents, and maintaining client communication.
• Complete KYC reviews and respond to inquiries from the Financial Intelligence Unit and other support units regarding transactions and account activity.
• Resolve client inquiries, complaints, overdrafts, and other service issues while coordinating with internal bank departments.
• Analyze client needs and identify cross-selling and referral opportunities for Wealth Management, International, Treasury Management, and Private Banking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of experience in client service, banking operations, or private banking relationship management support.
• At least 5 years of experience in banking or financial services.
• At least 5 years of experience with bank products and services, including deposits, cash management, and international services.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance, banking operations, analytical skills, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and bank colleagues.
