KYC Review Analyst Senior- Ops

Location: In office in Phoenix, Arizona, or Newark, Delaware, US

Salary: $71,869–$114,797 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Conduct enhanced due diligence and periodic KYC reviews for commercial loan borrowers, new clients, existing relationships, and prospects.
• Investigate client activity, profiles, public records, subscription-based sources, and internal bank systems to assess compliance risk and prepare documented conclusions.
• Review and clear potential negative-news alerts, escalating confirmed matches and other concerns appropriately.
• Identify and escalate restricted, prohibited, high-risk, or unusual activity under BSA and compliance policies.
• Follow up with line colleagues for missing information and make timely, well-reasoned decisions.
• Assist with new-hire training, quality-control reviews of junior analysts’ work, and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in banking services, branch operations, risk management, or a related function.
• At least three years of BSA/AML experience.
• At least two years of experience using Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, communication, writing, judgment, and attention-to-detail skills, with knowledge of deposit and loan transactions.
• Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.
