Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in the downtown Chicago office at the Merchandise Mart; in-office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Salary: USD $70,000–$105,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Analyze revenue, expenses, capital expenditures, and other key performance indicators to identify trends and support decisions.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations for executives, investors, and board members.
• Support and improve annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-term financial planning cycles.
• Maintain and enhance FP&A platforms, dashboards, and forecasting models.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.
• Conduct competitive analysis and recommend initiatives that inform business strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering, or another quantitative field, or comparable experience.
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, consulting, investment banking, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar planning tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
