Senior Mechanic, GMP Maintenance (Biotech)

What you will do

• Execute planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs on manufacturing, filling, assembly, and packing/kitting lines.
• Support efficient production and supply of Tyvaso DPI medicine.
• Complete maintenance documentation in a Computerized Maintenance Management System and maintain accurate spare-parts inventory.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on the setup, operation, and functional systems of cGMP equipment.
• Train mechanics and technicians on regulated process equipment and identify equipment setup and maintenance improvements.
• Provide operational support for validation and other technical projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial, pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with automation systems and platforms, including troubleshooting and operation of complex automation systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, electronic, and hydraulic control systems.
• Working knowledge of digital voltmeters, temperature probes, and pneumatic calibrators.
• Experience using regulated databases such as BMRAM or Cal Man, with strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in life science, mechanical, or related technical vocational studies.
• 4+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
