Dallas Internal Audit and Financial Advisory Intern (AI)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; hybrid work combining in-person and remote work, with availability required in the designated location during business hours for the entire internship. Work may include local or out-of-state travel to client sites.

What you will do

• Collaborate with client teams to deliver internal audit and financial advisory solutions for complex business challenges.
• Assess business processes, identify and mitigate emerging risks, and improve operational efficiency, effectiveness, governance, and compliance.
• Evaluate technology risks and controls across cybersecurity, AI risk, data governance, cloud, privacy, software development, resilience, and technology governance.
• Handle, analyze, synthesize, and interpret data to uncover insights and draw actionable conclusions.
• Apply AI tools, data visualization, and automation technologies to improve delivery quality and efficiency.
• Participate in hands-on training, onboarding, professional development, and projects across industries and internal initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Must be within one year of final graduation at the time of the internship.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for hirify.global without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Advanced verbal and written communication, critical thinking, analytical thinking, teamwork, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Technical proficiency relevant to the assigned capability area, including data analysis, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, software development practices, and audit frameworks.
• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of the internship and may apply for only one location or capability.

Nice to have

• Interest or experience with Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform, Python, advanced analytics, and automation technologies.
• Understanding of internal audit processes, emerging technologies, audit objectives, and controls.
• Progress toward professional certifications and a strong academic background.
