Risk Advisory Intern (AI)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; hybrid with in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site.

Salary: $37 per hour.

What you will do

• Assess business and information technology processes, systems, internal controls, and operational programs.
• Support enterprise, operational, third-party risk management, compliance, and internal audit projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and assist with Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory compliance work.
• Collect and analyze data, identify trends, and visualize results using analytics solutions.
• Apply automation, artificial intelligence, and other technology aids to improve project delivery.
• Collaborate with team members and clients, manage assigned responsibilities, and recommend process and control improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, critical-thinking, problem-solving, project-management, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Availability to travel at least 25% and work additional hours when needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Desire to pursue a CPA, PMP, CISA, CIA, CISSP, CAMS, CISM, or another relevant certification.
