Internal Auditor (Data Analytics)

Location: Grapevine, Texas, United States; full-time, onsite role.

What you will do

• Assist with audits of financial, operational, and technology processes, including internal control evaluations and SOX testing.
• Document business processes, risks, and control activities, and support fraud risk and governance reviews.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and risks, and communicate findings clearly.
• Help develop automated testing routines and continuous monitoring techniques, including the use of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence.
• Work with process owners and business leaders to identify improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and risk management.
• Participate in structured training and build expertise in internal auditing, data analytics, business operations, and risk management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed within the last two years in accounting, finance, business administration, information systems, data analytics, supply chain management, computer science, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Internship experience in accounting, audit, consulting, analytics, technology, or operations.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar analytical and data visualization tools.
• Understanding of business processes and risk concepts.
• Interest in pursuing CPA, CIA, CISA, or related professional certifications.
• Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or transportation industries.
