What you will do
- Prepare monthly statutory financial statements and reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation and manage monthly fixed-asset accounting.
- Support audit procedures, compliance projects, and the collection of data for insurance policy renewals.
- Enhance accounting policies and internal control procedure documentation.
- Support the Director of Finance, VP of Finance, campus CFOs, and VP of Taxation with special projects and ad hoc analysis.
- Contribute to automation, improved reporting, SAP process improvements, SAP upgrades, and financial software implementations.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of related experience and an accounting background.
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and extensive data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and autonomous-working skills.
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
