HazMat Industrial Services Driver/Tech - CDL (A) (HazMat)

Location: Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA; on-site field and facility work

Pay: $26.25–$36.07 per hour, with the actual range depending on the hiring locality.

What you will do

• Transport bulk and containerized hazardous and non-hazardous waste from generator and customer sites.
• Perform industrial waste clean-up and emergency hazardous and non-hazardous spill response.
• Operate tankers, roll-off trucks, liquid and turbo vacuums, box trucks, tractor trailers, skid steers, forklifts, pumps, and pallet jacks.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip Department of Transportation inspections, vehicle logs, manifests, and work orders.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, facilities, and work sites while following applicable safety and regulatory procedures.
• Support lab pack, field service, and industrial service projects and maintain customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER training upon hire required.
• Ability to operate heavy and light equipment, use hand and shop tools, and work accurately across multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to respond to customer spills and emergencies during normal business hours and after hours.
• HazMat endorsement preferred.
