What you will do

• Execute lab pack projects for the proper packaging of hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal wastes.
• Ensure all containers have correct DOT markings, labeling, and accompanying paperwork.
• Manage workloads independently at customer sites, including hospitals, universities, and laboratories.
• Perform de-pack activities at the Avon location, including waste consolidation and pour-off.
• Maintain a clean working environment and adhere strictly to OSHA health and safety rules.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain 40-hour HAZWOPER, RCRA, and DOT certifications.
• Frequent travel to customer sites with occasional overnight stays (up to 15%).
• Physical ability to lift 50lbs, work from heights, and enter confined spaces.
• Ability to qualify for and wear a full-face respirator.

Nice to have

• Higher education in Chemistry or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
