Staff Full-Stack Software Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland; on-site four days per week

What you will do

• Set the technical direction for Mission Control's user interface across the React frontend, backend APIs, and deployment and testing automation.
• Build interfaces and APIs that enable enterprise customers to deploy, monitor, and control AI security agents.
• Translate Figma designs into dependable, transparent, and controllable product experiences.
• Integrate product, design, and backend work while identifying API and implementation gaps early.
• Contribute to secure, accessible, and reliable 24/7/365 experiences at enterprise scale.
• Mentor engineers, manage stakeholders, and coordinate work across global engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience developing large-scale systems with JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
• Deep practical knowledge of React and TypeScript, plus one or more UI backends such as Rails, Swing, or Node.
• Experience with micro-frontends or the ability to ramp up quickly; familiarity with cloud-native development, automated deployments, and container systems.
• Knowledge of frontend security, web standards, accessibility, API contracts, debugging, and user experience design.
• Strong communication, leadership, coordination, stakeholder-management, and mentoring skills.
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience; readiness to participate in an on-call rotation coordinated with US-based colleagues.

Nice to have

• AWS experience and large-scale event-processing experience.
• Experience with AI-driven development tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
• Familiarity with agentic communication protocols such as A2A and MCP, and agent-generated UI concepts such as A2UI and json-render.
