Fullstack Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Sydney, Australia; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Deliver software features and components across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through deployment.
• Design and improve backend services and frontend components using the modern engineering stack.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Contribute to engineering standards, system architecture, and maintainable design patterns.
• Support junior engineers through mentoring, pull request reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in technical interviews and help build an effective engineering team.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals and practical experience across the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and at least one backend language: Go, Java, or Node.
• Strong working knowledge of React.
• Ability to own features end-to-end with minimal supervision and solve technical problems independently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
