What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-quality software across web, mobile, and backend services following security and regulatory standards.
• Build customer-facing experiences using React and React Native, contributing to supporting APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver new features for the Dealing Journeys squad.
• Write clean, secure, and maintainable code while actively participating in code reviews.
• Contribute to cloud-native and distributed systems on AWS to support business-critical journeys.
• Implement automated tests and ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG).

Requirements

• Commercial experience developing modern applications using TypeScript and React.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Understanding of AWS, cloud-native development, and CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and automated testing frameworks.
• Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience building production mobile applications with React Native.
• Experience with PHP or Java applications and services.
• Familiarity with microservice architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience working within highly regulated industries, such as financial services.
