What you will do

• Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques to highway and railway bridge designs.
• Develop designs for steel plate girder, prestressed concrete, segmental and cable bridges, box culverts, and interchanges.
• Perform structural load calculations, geometric layouts, and quantity development.
• Select standard bridge engineering procedures and create structural details using specialized software.
• Participate in bridge inspections and support related engineering activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu and bridge engineering software such as LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB-MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, midas Civil, CSiBridge, RM Bridge, spColumn, STLBridgeLRFD, or STLBridge.
• Knowledge of Bentley OpenBridge Modeler and/or Autodesk InfraWorks and Civil 3D.
• Strong computer skills for structural layout and design.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment.
