What you will do
- Operate the Service Desk, resolve trouble tickets, and provide technical customer support.
- Respond to computer-system assistance requests, track problems, and maintain problem-resolution databases.
- Troubleshoot and escalate issues beyond Tier 1 support, coordinating with technical teams and vendors.
- Partner with product owners on root-cause analysis, service disruption elimination, platform upgrades, and maintenance.
- Provide status updates during enterprise-wide technology issues and maintain service-level, performance, and quality standards.
- Define service desk standards and procedures, drive continuous improvement, identify automation opportunities, and participate in on-call support and occasional travel.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3β5 years of recent experience in IT, service desk, or helpdesk roles.
- Bachelorβs degree in information systems or a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Experience with IT service management transformation, incident analysis, problem management, and change management.
- Knowledge of service management best practices, with strong critical-thinking, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
- Basic A+ and Microsoft certifications are preferred; equivalent education or demonstrated experience may substitute.
