Early Career Analyst, Political Risk

Location: Singapore; primarily office-based

What you will do

• Support the growth of the Structured Credit, Trade Finance, and Political Risk business across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Review new business submissions within the underwriting framework and risk appetite.
• Help manage credit risk exposures, transaction pipelines, internal policy compliance, and management information reports.
• Handle pre- and post-policy administration, including NDA execution, sanctions screening, and premium management.
• Evaluate transaction structures, facility documentation, corporate, financial institution, and sovereign credit risk, country risk, macroeconomic trends, and geopolitical developments.
• Build relationships with clients, brokers, credit approvers, and other stakeholders while supporting policy negotiations and market meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in finance or accounting.
• Fresh graduate or recent graduate with up to two years of work experience.
• Analytical understanding of financial or credit analysis and financial statement interpretation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, analytical, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently, show initiative, and contribute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented, outgoing, results-driven, and customer-focused approach.

• Exposure to credit risk underwriting, credit sales, or trade operations.
