Road Supervisor (Transportation)

Location: Full-time, in-person position based in Mountain View, California; flexible availability for split shifts, evenings, Saturdays, and extended hours is required.

Salary: $39–$42 per hour, excluding equity or variable pay where applicable.

What you will do

• Supervise driver performance through evaluations, feedback, coaching, and service-quality improvement.
• Develop and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs for drivers.
• Act as the real-time operational contact, prioritize issues, resolve customer complaints, and de-escalate conflicts.
• Respond to accidents and incidents, managing applicable processes and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to scale operational processes, systems, and tools.
• Operate company vehicles when needed, including lift-equipped vehicles, and complete pre- and post-shift inspections.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in transportation services or a comparable industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; transportation, logistics, or related certifications or higher education are preferred.
• At least 25 years old and able to work in person from Mountain View.
• Valid California Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement, current medical certification, and eligibility to operate air-brake-equipped motorcoaches.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer-service, conflict-management, and stressful-situation-handling skills.
• Proficiency with tablets and standard office software, knowledge of Mountain View and its community, and the ability to operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles safely.

• Full-time schedule of approximately 40–45 hours per week in 8–9 hour shifts.
• Split shifts may run from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
