Experienced Lab Technician - Night Shift (Optical Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA. Night shifts run 4:00 PM–4:30 AM on either Sunday–Tuesday or Wednesday–Friday, with some Saturdays.

What you will do

• Insert lenses into frames and perform edging, beveling, tinting, and mounting.
• Verify lens power, axis, and prism standards.
• Inspect frames and lenses for cosmetic and optical defects using ANSI standards.
• Operate CNC optical machinery for taping, blocking, generating, coating, and polishing.
• Operate anti-reflective coating machinery, sort lenses, and confirm quality standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in high-volume optical manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with surfacing, finishing, and mounting.
• High precision and accuracy in production work.
• Focused effort, organization, and planning skills.
• No specific educational level is required.
