Quality Inspector - 3rd Shift

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 10:45 PM–7:15 AM

Salary: $17.20–$31.90 per hour, plus shift differential; additional compensation may be available depending on the position.

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive product inspections using work instructions, checklists, drawings, and acceptance criteria.
• Use precision and non-precision gauges, meters, tools, and measurement equipment to verify product conformance.
• Identify non-conforming products and initiate Non-Conformance Reports.
• Verify that no active NCRs remain before completing product inspections.
• Prioritize inspection tasks assigned by Operations Supervisors to meet departmental goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in a quality process; experience with Quality Management Systems is preferred.
• Experience with precision metal fabrication measurement tools and techniques is preferred.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, paint mil gauges, hardness testers, CMMs, measuring tables, optical comparators, and functional testers.
• Ability to interpret and apply Quality System and ISO procedures, organize workload, communicate effectively, and work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and apply mathematics and geometry accurately.
