Insurance Strategy & Business Analytics Analyst

What you will do

• Develop and present business cases for new insurance products, services, and lines of business.
• Analyze market opportunities, competitive landscapes, revenue growth potential, and expansion areas.
• Build and maintain complex financial models, including five-year pro forma projections and return-on-investment analyses.
• Analyze large datasets, insurance industry trends, emerging risks, and market developments.
• Assess regulatory requirements and partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management on business recommendations.
• Prepare reports, executive presentations, investment proposals, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analytics, financial analysis, corporate strategy, insurance analytics, or a related field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Strong analytical, quantitative problem-solving, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Experience synthesizing large volumes of data into actionable business insights.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States is required; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Insurance or financial services industry experience.
• Knowledge of insurance products, distribution models, compensation structures, revenue drivers, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, statistical modeling, regression analysis, and forecasting methodologies.
