Lead Analyst, Risk Intelligence (Insurance)

Salary: $116,080–$159,610 annual base salary, with 25% bonus potential.

What you will do

• Produce the quarterly hirify.global Intelligence Report by synthesizing industry trends, macroeconomic drivers, internal data, and expert perspectives for the Board.
• Develop an always-on horizon-scanning process combining human expertise with agentic AI to identify material threats and communicate actionable insights.
• Design, parameterize, and execute stress scenarios for ORSA and CISSA filings.
• Support risk appetite development and implement Key Risk Indicators to monitor exposure against approved tolerances.
• Facilitate scenario workshops, interviews, surveys, and tabletop exercises with underwriting and other business leaders.
• Partner with Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance, and Capital Modeling teams while delivering quarterly milestones and rapid decision-ready briefs.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in insurance risk, actuarial work, strategy, or another analytical field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or risk-related discipline such as Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
• Experience producing concise, high-quality written materials for executive audiences and translating technical uncertainty into clear business narratives.
• Proficiency with analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python, plus PowerPoint and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder information gathering and rigorous deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Nice to have

• Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, FRM, or actuarial credentials, or progress toward them.
