Software & AI Solution Engineer (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain business-critical software applications and AI-enabled solutions for Engineering, Operations, and other business functions.
• Work with business stakeholders, Engineering, Operations, IT, and AI specialists to identify digitalization, automation, and AI opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into solution concepts, user stories, technical specifications, and AI use cases.
• Modernize applications using cloud technologies, automation, and AI capabilities while ensuring scalability, security, maintainability, and usability.
• Develop integrations across ERP, PLM, engineering, manufacturing, cloud, and AI platforms.
• Contribute to the full solution lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, operation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering Informatics, Mechanical Engineering with a software focus, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in software development, solution engineering, or software-based digitalization initiatives.
• Strong practical experience with C#, .NET, Python, SQL, web technologies, API-based integrations, and modern application development.
• Experience delivering enterprise software solutions, system integrations, and working directly with business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, databases, application security, cloud-native design, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process improvement, automation, and AI opportunities.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or other technical environments.
• Experience developing, integrating, or deploying AI-enabled applications and automation solutions.
• Familiarity with Generative AI, large language models, AI services, AI development frameworks, or graph databases.
