Senior AI Engineer (Agentic Systems)

What you will do

• Design agent architectures covering reasoning loops, planning, tool-calling, memory, and context management.
• Build multi-step orchestration for task decomposition, tool selection, and error recovery.
• Develop and ship Copilot-style products, including chat interfaces, IDE extensions, CLI tools, and backend APIs.
• Integrate agents with developer tools and internal systems, including VS Code extensions, LSPs, browser extensions, and LLM services.
• Own deployment, monitoring, versioning, rollback, observability, and quality evaluation for production agents.
• Review the work of two Junior AI Engineers, mentor them, and define governance and self-service standards for citizen-built agents.

Requirements

• 1–6 years of hands-on experience building LLM or agent systems.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript skills with the ability to own a service end to end.
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks or SDKs such as Claude Agent SDK/MCP, LangGraph, AutoGen, or custom orchestration.
• Experience shipping an agentic system to production, plus knowledge of traditional machine learning including classification, regression, clustering, and feature engineering.
• Ability to design REST, GraphQL, streaming, and WebSocket APIs, including SSE/WebSocket-based LLM streaming and token-by-token rendering.
• Familiarity with authentication, session management, security, compliance, cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, and LLMOps practices.

Nice to have

• Strong React and TypeScript experience, with Node or Python backend development.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, LangSmith, Arize, prompt versioning, evaluation pipelines, and cost tracking.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and AWS Bedrock.
• Manufacturing or semiconductor experience, or experience building developer enablement platforms and internal tooling.
