Engineer Intern - Environmental

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin, United States

Pay: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support sustainability and environmental projects and initiatives.
• Assist with environmental compliance tasks and provide technical support to operations.
• Support management and employees with compliance, permitting, sustainability, and reporting matters.
• Research regulations, codes, and standards and prepare permit applications, air emission inventories, and environmental reports.
• Compile environmental performance metrics covering waste, recycling, and energy.
• Review safety data sheets, maintain environmental management systems, and upgrade Green Team SharePoint sites.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related environmental field throughout the internship.
• Remain enrolled for the entire duration of the internship.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Relevant coursework.
• Extracurricular experience outside academic requirements.
