Survey Crew Member

Location: Cary, North Carolina, USA; onsite field work with 95% of duties outdoors

Salary: USD $20.00–$22.00 per hour

What you will do

• Work as part of a land survey crew mapping roads, buildings, utilities, and other infrastructure.
• Learn to operate robots, GPS receivers, digital data collectors, UAS drones, terrestrial LiDAR scanners, ground-penetrating radar, electromagnetic detection instruments, and vacuum excavation equipment.
• Work outdoors year-round in heat and cold, with exposure to vehicle traffic, environmental noise, sunlight, and mechanical equipment.
• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Prioritize safety and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of combined surveying and mapping experience.
• Knowledge of cross-country pipeline surveying methods and techniques.
• Knowledge of surveying methods and electronic data collection.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round and perform the essential duties of the role.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliability and effective communication skills.
