Crew Chief (Land Surveying)

Location: Denver, Colorado; field work may require 10–12 hour days in remote or rural areas, outdoor work in varying conditions, and travel or out-of-town assignments. Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. hirify.global is currently unable to hire employees residing in Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Puerto Rico.

Salary: $25–$35 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Perform control, boundary, and topographic surveys.
• Prepare right-of-way plans.
• Use Trimble data collectors and related surveying equipment.
• Work with drones and 3D scanning technology.
• Conduct field surveying in remote or rural areas and travel as required.

Requirements

• Previous surveying experience, including field experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous AutoCAD experience.
• Ability to work 10–12 hour days outdoors in varying conditions.
• Willingness to travel and work out of town.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record meeting hirify.global’s Driving Program requirements; an MVR check is required.
• U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CDOT procedures and standards, including right-of-way plan production.
• Proficiency with Trimble GPS, robotic total stations, and Trimble Business Center.
• Knowledge of land-surveying principles, datums, and coordinate systems.
• Clear communication, attention to detail, and strong math skills.
