What you will do

• Administer medications to residents in compliance with federal and state regulations and company guidelines.
• Complete admissions, assessments, discharges, care plans, service plans, and clinical documentation as needed.
• Track clinical issues such as wounds and infection control under the director's guidance.
• Consult on health-related concerns and notify physicians or family members about changes in residents' conditions.
• Respond to emergencies, provide health education, and communicate closely with residents, families, and community staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and prospective resident information.

Requirements

• Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program with a focus on general nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience in senior care or a related field.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• English proficiency required for job duties, workplace communication, and emergency situations.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to work safely under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and collaborate with a team.
