Senior Process Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico

What you will do

• Identify, design, develop, purchase, and validate manufacturing equipment, tools, and processes.
• Perform material tests, design of experiments, process studies, and process or product validation activities.
• Prepare and manage specifications while ensuring manufacturing, safety, environmental, quality, cost, service, and regulatory requirements are met.
• Coordinate technicians and engineers in resolving unusual technical problems and implementing action plans.
• Participate in savings and capital projects and ensure compliance with financial metrics.
• Provide performance and development feedback for personnel in charge and communicate business issues or opportunities to management.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in any specialty.
• 4–6 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience in the medical industry and knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation are preferred.
• Knowledge of design of experiments, statistical analysis tools, statistical procedures, and computational packages.
• Oral and written Spanish communication skills required.
• Advanced English required. Knowledge of standard costs, work standards, and production processes is expected for the Senior Process Engineer role.

Nice to have

• Master of Science degree or relevant certification.
