Quality Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Ramos Arizpe, Mexico; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Establish and maintain quality control objectives, standards, inspection procedures, and testing methods for finished products and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze statistical data, product specifications, scrap, rework, customer complaints, and quality problems to identify causes and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Lead quality improvement programs covering gauge control, calibration, quality planning, capability studies, control tests, measurements, and quality cost analysis.
• Direct inspection and testing activities, conduct product and process audits, and verify compliance with SEIM and CQC policies.
• Support new product runs, design reviews, first article inspections, engineering specification reviews, and inter-plant inspections.
• Mentor and hold Quality Department members accountable while organizing quality and reliability training and supporting customer and supplier audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Industrial Engineering is preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills required.
• Five to ten years of experience as a Quality Manager.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and processes, including ISO 9001; audit certification is desired.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, management, communication, and presentation skills, including experience with 8D problem solving.
• Ability to work with people at varied levels inside and outside the reporting structure.

Nice to have

• Experience and certification in LEAN principles.
• Project management experience or PMP certification.
