Apprentice Maintenance Technician (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Forest City, NC, USA; primarily first shift with required overtime availability, including off shifts.

Pay rate: $22.24 per hour, with yearly increases after on-the-job training competencies are met and while remaining in good standing.

What you will do

• Complete a four-year Maintenance Reliability Technician apprenticeship.
• Perform structured on-the-job training in industrial maintenance and reliability.
• Complete all on-the-job training elements and meet annual competency goals.
• Attend coursework outside normal working hours for at least 20 hours per week.
• Work primarily first shift and support overtime, including off-shift coverage.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Forest City, North Carolina, USA.
• Complete an associate degree or certificate in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or an equivalent program approved by hirify.global.
• Maintain a 3.0 average during schooling; failure to do so may end the apprenticeship contract.
• Complete all on-the-job training requirements within four years.
• Be safety-conscious, highly motivated, dependable, and able to work required overtime and off shifts.
