Sanitation Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Columbia, MO, United States; onsite at the Columbia Plant. Requires night-shift leadership, shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Base salary: $89,800–$112,200 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead implementation of the hirify.global sanitation program, KHMS, and plant operational standards.
• Direct sanitation training and execution across production lines and facility areas according to sanitation, maintenance, and production schedules.
• Coordinate technical activities between plant personnel, headquarters Quality Assurance, chemical suppliers, and third-party sanitation providers.
• Maintain chemical safety procedures, training, storage, and compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements.
• Manage sanitation audits, cleaning verification and validation, environmental monitoring, microbiological testing, and analysis.
• Lead process-improvement and change initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, and the hirify.global Global Production System, while managing staff and the department budget.

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing and supervision.
• Knowledge of HACCP, microbiology, sanitation, chemical safety, pest control, and quality systems.
• Understanding of applicable OSHA, FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with factory peer teams and hourly associates.
• Ability to work onsite in the Columbia manufacturing plant, including shifts, weekends, and required overtime.

Nice to have

• Certified Sanitarian or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification.
• Certified PCQI certification.
