Corporate Sanitation Manager

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, USA; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home; travel up to 40%.

Salary: $91,200–$210,000 annually depending on U.S. pay zone, plus eligibility for incentive plans.

What you will do

• Deploy and govern corporate sanitation and environmental monitoring standards across multiple business unit plants.
• Maintain site risk profiles and approve deviations, risk assessments, environmental monitoring maps, SSOP changes, and chemical changes.
• Lead environmental monitoring design, sampling requirements, data trending, hotspot identification, containment, and eradication.
• Direct deviation investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, escalation, and effectiveness checks.
• Oversee SSOP accuracy, cleaning and sanitation validation, changeover hygiene assessments, and hygienic design improvements with Engineering.
• Conduct site improvement audits and coach plant teams on sanitation techniques, documentation, sampling, microbiology, and problem-solving.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in sanitation, quality, microbiology, or food safety, including operational experience with GMP, sanitation, and environmental monitoring.
• Knowledge of wet and dry cleaning validation and verification, COP, CIP, soil identification, chemical selection, and dry-cleaning methods.
• Experience developing validated and verifiable SSOPs and effective environmental monitoring programs with plant teams.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, risk-management, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Ability to collaborate with facilities, sanitation vendors, regulatory agencies, customers, QA, Operations, Engineering, EH&S, and external laboratories.
• Ability to work in manufacturing environments while standing for extended periods and wearing required PPE.
